Does anyone have experience/problems opening a bank account? I am from USA , I purchased property for winter home, went to 1st National Bank of St. Lucia (recommended by my lawyer and realtor) to open a Bank account to pay my property manager, gardener, water/electric on March 2. I left all the documents I was instructed to leave,and told the corporate office needs approve & time is approx. 10 days. Had to leave island to work in USA, It is still not approved to open an account. I Sent additional documents proving I own property, Documents for electric and water I have paid ahead, IBC/local company name that owns the property proving we are the officers. Despite my lawyer making a call, the bank says corporate still not approve me to open the bank account and now it's over 60 days. ANY HELP/SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED?
