"The cost of living in Saint Lucia is generally considered to be moderate. The capital city of Castries is the most expensive place to live in the country, with prices for goods and services being higher than in other parts of the country. The rental price for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Saint Lucia is around $800 USD per month, while a nice 2 bedroom apartment is around $1,200 USD per month. Eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Saint Lucia will cost around $20 USD per person," said one expat.

To apply for residency in Saint Lucia, applicants must submit a completed application form, a valid passport, two passport-sized photographs, a police clearance certificate, a medical certificate, and a fee. The application must also include proof of financial stability, such as bank statements, and proof of employment.
