They also appreciate the country's relaxed visa requirements and the fact that it is a safe place to live. On the other hand, some expats and digital nomads find the lack of infrastructure and the slow internet speeds to be a challenge. Additionally, the language barrier can be difficult for some, as Spanish is the primary language spoken in Paraguay," explained one expat in Paraguay.

What do expats in Paraguay appreciate most about the local culture?

They also enjoy the diverse cuisine, the beautiful landscapes, and the rich history of the country. Additionally, expats appreciate the low cost of living and the fact that Paraguay is a safe and welcoming place to live," explained one expat living in Paraguay.

What do expats find most challenging?

"Expats in Paraguay often find the language barrier to be one of the most challenging aspects of the local culture. Paraguay is a predominantly Spanish-speaking country, and many expats find it difficult to communicate with locals without a basic understanding of the language. Additionally, Paraguayans tend to be quite conservative in their views and customs, which can be difficult for expats to adjust to. Furthermore, Paraguayans are known for their strong sense of family and community, which can be difficult for expats to integrate into. Finally, Paraguayans are known for their strong sense of pride and patriotism, which can be difficult for expats to understand and appreciate," said a person living in Paraguay.
