What are the pros and cons of living in Albania?

Expats, digital nomads and retirees living in Albania responded:

"Expats and digital nomads often appreciate the low cost of living in Albania, as well as the friendly locals and the beautiful scenery. They also enjoy the relaxed pace of life and the opportunity to explore the country's rich culture and history. On the other hand, some expats and digital nomads may find the lack of infrastructure and the slow internet speeds to be a challenge. What do expats find most challenging?

"Expats in Albania often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. Many find the language barrier to be a challenge, as Albanian is not widely spoken outside of the country. Additionally, the local customs and traditions can be difficult to understand and navigate. Expats may also find the local cuisine to be quite different from what they are used to, as Albanian cuisine is heavily influenced by Mediterranean and Balkan flavors. Finally, the local infrastructure can be a challenge, as public transportation is often unreliable and roads can be in poor condition," remarked one expat in Albania.
