The cost of dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Taiwan is usually around $10 to $15 USD per person.

What appliances are typically included in a rental?

We asked foreigners in Taiwan what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"In Taiwan, rental properties typically include a refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioner, and water heater. Some properties may also include a stove, oven, and microwave. Additionally, some landlords may provide furniture such as a bed, sofa, and dining table," said an expat in Taiwan.
