However, it is important to note that the cost of daily living in Afghanistan can still be high, particularly in larger cities, and other costs such as health care and education can be expensive. Additionally, there are safety and security risks associated with living in Afghanistan that may make it an unwise decision for some people," explained one expat living in Afghanistan.

"It is difficult to estimate the rental prices for a one bedroom apartment and a two bedroom apartment in Afghanistan, as there are many factors, including location and quality, which will determine the cost. Generally, however, rent for apartments in Afghanistan can range between $300 and $1,000 for a one bedroom and between $500 and $2,000 for a two bedroom," remarked one expat living in Afghanistan.
What appliances are typically included in a rental?
We asked foreigners in Afghanistan what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:
"In Afghanistan, rental properties typically include basic kitchen appliances such as a refrigerator, an oven, and a stove. They can also include other appliances such as washing machines and dryers, air conditioners, and heating systems. Depending on the location, some rentals may also come equipped with a water heater or a generator," said one expat.
