What are typical rental prices for expats in Florida?

"The price for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Florida can vary widely depending on the location, but will typically range from around $900 to $1,500 per month. A nice 2 bedroom apartment in Florida can cost between $1,200 and $2,500 per month," said an expat in Florida.

What appliances are typically included in a rental?

We asked foreigners in Florida what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"Most rental homes in Florida come with at least a refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Depending on the property and certain amenities, renters may also find ceiling fans, in-ground swimming pool, patio, Jacuzzi, or alarm system," wrote an expat living in Florida.
