We asked foreigners in Azerbaijan what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"Renters in Azerbaijan may typically expect to find a fridge, washing machine, water kettle, stove with oven, and an air conditioning unit or gas heater in their rental property. These appliances are typically included and may be necessary in order to live comfortably, as temperatures in Azerbaijan can range from below freezing in the winter to blazing hot in the summer. In some cases, a dishwasher or television may also be included," wrote an expat living in Azerbaijan.
