What are typical rental prices for expats in New Mexico?

"The rental price for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in New Mexico can range from around $500 to $700 a month, depending on the size and location. For a nice 2 bedroom apartment, the rental price in New Mexico can range from around $800 to $1200 a month, again depending on the size and location," commented one expat who moved to New Mexico.

What appliances are typically included in a rental?

We asked foreigners in New Mexico what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"In a rental property in New Mexico, tenants may find a refrigerator, stove, and washer/dryer. Additionally, there may be a dishwasher and air conditioning unit installed. Lighting fixtures, window coverings such as curtains, and ceiling fans are also common features of rental homes in New Mexico," said one expat living in New Mexico.
