Additionally, they may need to obtain a tax identification number from the Internal Revenue Service in order to purchase property," wrote one expat who made the move to Arkansas.

"Many rental properties in Arkansas come with the basic appliances needed for the daily functioning of a household. These appliances often include a refrigerator, oven/stove, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Additionally, some rentals may also include a microwave, garbage disposal, and additional utility features such as air conditioning and a water heater," remarked one foreigner who made the move to Arkansas.
