Finally, be sure to read any contract or deed you sign before closing to make sure you understand all the terms and conditions of the purchase," remarked one foreigner who made the move to Kentucky.

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Kentucky. Non-U.S. citizens are able to purchase real estate in Kentucky just like any other U.S. citizen. However, they may need to obtain a valid visa in order to purchase property in the state. Additionally, they may need to provide proof of their identity and financial resources in order to complete the purchase," said one in Kentucky.
What appliances are typically included in a rental?
We asked foreigners in Kentucky what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:
"In Kentucky, the appliances typically included in the rental property when renting a home are a refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove/oven, and garbage disposal. In some cases, depending on the location and the size of the home, a microwave and air conditioner may also be included," said one foreigner living in Kentucky.
