However, they may need to obtain a valid visa in order to purchase property in the state. Additionally, they may need to obtain a tax identification number from the Internal Revenue Service in order to purchase property," explained one person living in Washington.

"Rental properties in Washington typically include a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Other appliances such as microwaves, garbage disposals, and air conditioners may also be included depending on the property," wrote one expat who made the move to Washington.
