When we asked expats and global nomads about the quality of medical care in Los Angeles, they replied:
"Los Angeles offers a wide range of healthcare services, including primary care, specialty care, mental health services, and emergency care. Primary care services are provided by family physicians, internists, and pediatricians, who provide preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of common medical conditions. Specialty care services are provided by specialists in areas such as cardiology, neurology, and oncology. Mental health services are provided by psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, who provide counseling, therapy, and medication management. Emergency care services are provided by hospitals and urgent care centers, which provide 24-hour care for serious medical conditions. Los Angeles also has a variety of community health centers that provide low-cost or free healthcare services to underserved populations," wrote one expat living in Los Angeles.
