When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Berlin, they said:

Finally, Berlin is a great city for expats to explore and enjoy, so make sure to take advantage of all the city has to offer," said one expat who made the move to Berlin.

We asked expats how they chose their neighborhood and found a place to live. They answered:

"When looking for a place to live in Berlin, it is important to consider your budget, desired location, and the type of accommodation you are looking for. Start by researching different neighborhoods in Berlin to find one that fits your needs. Pack warm clothing such as sweaters, coats, and scarves for the colder months, and light clothing such as shorts and t-shirts for the warmer months. What cultural faux pas should I try to avoid making in Berlin?

We asked people in Berlin if they could share any humorous cultural blunders they commited. For new expats, keep in mind that these incidents are an inevitable part of expat life. Learning to laugh about them is the key!:
