"One of the best ways to find a place to live in Playa del Carmen is to research online. There are numerous websites and apps specifically designed to help people find rentals in the area. Additionally, you can speak to locals who are currently renting and ask for advice, or directly contact landlords or property managers in the area. You can also check newspapers and other local publications for listings. Finally, attending open houses can give you the opportunity to tour various homes and apartments and pick the one that best suits your needs," explained one person living in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

"I hired a taxi/guide/realtor service to show me around the various neighborhoods. I was given the history and current makeup of the communities. I was able to determine which were popular for families, pets and parties. I kept hunting until I found the perfect place for me," said one expat in Playa del Carmen.
