"Angeles City in the Philippines offers a wide range of healthcare services. The city has several hospitals and clinics that provide medical care for both inpatients and outpatients. These facilities offer a variety of services, including general medical care, emergency services, laboratory tests, and specialized treatments. Additionally, the city has several pharmacies that provide prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs. Furthermore, Angeles City has a number of health centers that provide preventive care, such as vaccinations and health screenings. Finally, the city also has a number of alternative medicine practitioners, such as acupuncturists, herbalists, and homeopaths," wrote one expat.

"Angeles City in the Philippines offers a wide range of medical services. The city has several hospitals and clinics that provide quality medical care. Additionally, there are a number of pharmacies and medical supply stores in the city that provide access to medications and medical supplies. "I have not had to use my insurance here because the cost of care has been so inexpensive. I had to get an MRI which cost me less than 200 USD," remarked one expat living in Angeles City.

"Angeles Medical Center was about 5km from where we lived. Most of the staff are unfriendly! My son broke his arm and I was infuriated by the awful way we were treated. As expected, it was expensive as we had to stay for a week, but the room was very clean and the food was good. We, however, got the needed medication," remarked one expat in Angeles City.

"In Angeles City, emergency services are provided by the Angeles City Emergency Medical Services (ACEMS). ACEMS provides emergency medical services, firefighting, and rescue services. To call for an ambulance, you can dial 911 or the ACEMS hotline at (045) 887-2222. The ACEMS hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week," remarked one expat living in Angeles City.

"I am within 5km of many good hospitals. The main ones I seek service from are Angeles University Foundation Hospital and Clark Medical Center. The care I have received from both places has been great. I believe that both are private," said one expat living in Angeles City.

"Yes, there are a good number of medical specialists in Angeles City. People in the area can access a wide range of medical services, including general practitioners, specialists, and highly specialized medical care. For highly specialized medical care, people typically go to the Angeles University Foundation Medical Center, which is a tertiary hospital that offers a wide range of medical services, including cardiology, neurology, oncology, and other specialized services. Additionally, the Angeles Medical Center and the Angeles City General Hospital also offer specialized medical care," remarked one expat living in Angeles City.

"I have not yet had to travel away from Angeles City to obtain any required medical service," said one expat living in Angeles City.

"Prescriptions are easy to fill. I can obtain the needed medications from my physician and from local drug stores. The cost is much less than what I would pay in the U.S," commented one expat living in Angeles City, Philippines.

"Common medication is available in the many pharmacies dotted around the city. Prescriptions for antibiotics are needed, but not for asthma inhalers etc. Medication is much cheaper than in Germany," wrote one expat.

"There are many Govt. and private hospitals dotted around the city and offer reasonably good facilities. Unfortunately, due to the xenophobia of most of the nurses, one has to put up with their ignorance and nastiness," said one expat living in Angeles City.

"Yes, as a foreigner living in Angeles City, you will have access to public healthcare. The public healthcare system in the Philippines is generally considered to be of good quality, with a wide range of services available. The public healthcare system is funded by the government and is free or low-cost for those who qualify. The public healthcare system is also supplemented by private healthcare providers, which offer more specialized services," said one expat.

"My experiences with the local healthcare system in Angeles City during the pandemic have been mostly positive. The healthcare workers have been incredibly dedicated and hardworking, providing excellent care to those in need. The hospitals have been well-equipped and well-staffed, and the government has provided additional resources to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need. The local government has also implemented strict safety protocols to protect both patients and healthcare workers from the virus. Overall, I am very impressed with the level of care and dedication that the healthcare system in Angeles City has provided during this difficult time," said one expat.
