If you're not sure about your long-term plans or if you prefer not to deal with the responsibilities of homeownership, renting might be a better option. Renting allows you to move more easily and doesn't require a large upfront investment. However, when you rent, your monthly payments do not contribute to building equity and you may face annual rent increases. You also have less control over your living space, as you are subject to the rules and regulations set by your landlord.
