Foreigners must obtain a valid visa and may need to obtain a tax identification number in order to purchase property. Additionally, they may need to provide proof of funds and may need to obtain a loan from a U.S. bank," said one person in Los Angeles.
What appliances are typically included in a rental?
We asked foreigners in Los Angeles what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:
"Rental properties in Los Angeles typically include a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Some properties may also include a microwave, garbage disposal, and air conditioning unit," said one expat in Los Angeles.
