As there are certain restrictions concerning foreign ownership of property in Dongguang, it is important to determine whether these restrictions apply to you before making an offer on any property. 4. If purchasing a home or an apartment, it is important to be aware of any potential repair and maintenance issues that may be present before signing a purchase agreement. 5. It is also important to get all relevant documents on the property such as title certificates, planning judgments, and any other pertinent documents that confirm the legality of the transaction. 6. Finally, it is crucial to research all tax considerations that may apply to the purchase of property in Dongguang," explained one foreigner living in Dongguang, China.

Are foreigners allowed to own property in Dongguang?

When we asked expats what advice they would give a foreigner before buying a property in Dongguang, they said...

"Foreigners are allowed to own property in Dongguan, China, but there are certain restrictions. Foreigners must obtain a Chinese residence permit in order to purchase property in Dongguan. Additionally, foreigners are only allowed to purchase property in certain designated areas. Furthermore, foreigners are not allowed to purchase agricultural land or land designated for public use," explained one person living in Dongguang, China.

What appliances are typically included in a rental?

We asked foreigners in Dongguang what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"In Dongguang, rental properties often include appliances such as a refrigerator, washer and dryer, and stove. These appliances provide convenience and help to make the rental property comfortable. In addition, air conditioning is usually available, providing relief from the hot and humid climate of Dongguang," explained one expat in Dongguang.
