When we asked expats what advice they would give a foreigner before buying a property in Zhuhai, they said...

"Foreigners are allowed to own property in Zhuhai, but there are certain restrictions. Foreigners are only allowed to own property in certain designated areas, and they must obtain approval from the local government before they can purchase a property. Additionally, foreigners are not allowed to own agricultural land or land that is designated for public use. Furthermore, foreign ownership of property is limited to a maximum of 50 years," explained one person living in Zhuhai, China.

What appliances are typically included in a rental?

We asked foreigners in Zhuhai what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"In Zhuhai, rental properties typically include a refrigerator, a washing machine, an air conditioner, a water heater, and a stove. Other appliances such as a microwave, a dishwasher, and a television may also be included depending on the property," explained one person living in Zhuhai, China.
