You would also be responsible for ongoing costs such as maintenance, repairs, and property taxes. Therefore, you need to ensure you have sufficient funds to cover these expenses. On the other hand, renting a home in Saint-Tropez offers more flexibility. It's a good option if you're not sure how long you'll stay, or if you prefer not to have the financial commitment of a mortgage. Renting can also be more cost-effective in the short term, as you won't have to pay for maintenance or repairs. However, renting doesn't provide the same level of stability as owning a home.
