Websites like Suumo, Homes, and GaijinPot have listings for apartments and houses in Kobe. You can also use a real estate agent to help you find a place. They can provide you with listings that match your criteria, arrange viewings, and help you with the application process. When you find a place you like, you'll need to apply for it. This usually involves filling out an application form and providing proof of income. If your application is accepted, you'll need to pay a deposit and possibly key money (a non-refundable payment to the landlord). Finally, you'll sign a lease agreement. Should I buy or rent a home in kobe?

Renting also means you won't have to deal with maintenance or repair costs, as these are typically the landlord's responsibility. However, renting doesn't allow you to build equity or potentially profit from property value increases. You'll also have less control over your living situation, as you'll be subject to the landlord's rules and decisions.
