"Expat homes and apartments in Utrecht are typically modern and spacious. Many of the apartments are located in the city center, close to shops, restaurants, and other amenities. The apartments often have large windows, allowing plenty of natural light to enter the space. Many of the homes and apartments also have balconies or terraces, providing a great outdoor space to relax and enjoy the views. Furthermore, they must also comply with the Dutch housing regulations," explained one person living in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

We asked foreigners in Utrecht what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"Rental properties in Utrecht typically include a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Additionally, some properties may include a microwave, toaster, and other small kitchen appliances," said one foreigner living in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
