Another option is to hire a real estate agent. They can help you find a suitable place according to your needs and handle the negotiation process with the landlord. However, keep in mind that this service usually comes with a fee. If you're a student, you can also check with your university. Many universities have housing offices that help students find accommodation. They may have partnerships with housing corporations that offer rooms or apartments specifically for students. Once you've found a potential place, arrange a viewing. This will give you a chance to inspect the property and ask any questions. If you're abroad, you can ask for a virtual viewing. It's important to note that these are average costs and actual prices can vary based on factors such as exact location, property condition, and market fluctuations," remarked one member in Eindhoven.
Should I buy or rent a home in Eindhoven?
If you have not spent a lot of time in Eindhoven, you should rent before even thinking about buying. We asked expats there about the buy vs. rent decision:
