"1. Make sure to research the different hospitals and birthing centers in the area to find the best fit for you and your family. 2. Consider hiring a doula or midwife to provide additional support during the birthing process. 3. Take advantage of the free antenatal classes offered by the NHS to learn more about the birthing process and how to care for your newborn. 4. Make sure to register with a local GP and health visitor to ensure your baby receives the necessary vaccinations and check-ups. 5. Take the time to explore the city and find the best places to take your baby for walks, playdates, and other activities. 6. Connect with other expat parents in the area to get advice and support. 7. Take advantage of the free childcare and other benefits available to families in Scotland. 8. Make sure to take care of yourself during the pregnancy and postpartum period by getting enough rest, eating a balanced diet, and seeking help if needed," remarked another expat who made the move to Glasgow, Scotland.
