Don't forget to enquire into the range of prenatal classes available, including those in the public system, to make sure you have the best possibe support before, during and after your pregnancy. 3. Consider joining a mother's group or a playgroup for children in your local area- this may be a good way to meet other people and connect with your local community. 4. Look into the range of activities and classes that may be available for your baby- such as swimming, music and movement programs which can be beneficial for development. 5. It is important to think about obtaining health insurance to cover any medical expenses associated with the pregnancy and birth, especially if you are using a private hospital. 6.
