They can also help you navigate the local healthcare system and communicate with medical staff if there's a language barrier. Thirdly, ensure you have all the necessary documentation for your baby. This includes registering the birth with both the local authorities in Belize and with your home country's embassy or consulate, to ensure your child has dual citizenship if applicable. Fourthly, be prepared for the climate. Caye Caulker is a tropical island, so ensure you have appropriate clothing and protection for your baby against the heat and sun.
