What advice do you have for expats having a baby in Zhuhai?

Answer this Question

We asked expat moms who gave birth in Zhuhai about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...

"The most important advice for expats expecting a baby in Zhuhai is to research and familiarize yourself with the local clinics, hospitals and prenatal care facilities so that you can feel comfortable and secure when it comes time to deliver your baby. Additionally, it is important to make sure that you have all the necessary documents and paperwork in order from your home country to ensure a smooth immigration process when entering China with your baby. It is also beneficial to research the local laws and regulations to understand the birth process, the newborn visa application process and the healthcare system for your baby. Lastly, seek out local support groups and expat communities in the area so that you can easily connect with people who understand the local system and can offer advice and support along the way," said another expat in Zhuhai, China, China.
