What advice do you have for expats having a baby in Wuhan?

Answer this Question

We asked expat moms who gave birth in Wuhan about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...

"Start researching medical care options in Wuhan prior to the birth of your baby. Make sure to book prenatal care with an experienced and reputable doctor in the area. Ask your doctor about precautions that can be taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your baby while in the city. Ask the advice of other expats who have given birth in Wuhan. Make sure to talk to your doctor about potential vaccinations that may be recommended in the area. Lastly, prepare a plan with your doctor in the event of an emergency," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Wuhan, China, China.
