Many expats also find it useful to join a local parenting or mother's group where you can get support from other expats. Be sure to learn about the maternity and childcare options that are available and their costs, as well as any tax breaks available for having a baby in France. Finally, keep in mind that having a baby in any new country is not easy, but there are many local resources that can help make the transition smoother," wrote a member who made the move to Montpellier, France, France.
