It is also important to be aware of the cultural differences in childbirth and postpartum care in Jamaica. Additionally, it is important to be aware of the laws and regulations regarding birth certificates and other legal documents for newborns in Jamaica. Finally, it is important to be prepared for the cost of having a baby in Jamaica, as it can be more expensive than in other countries," commented one expat who made the move to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
