Secondly, ensure that you have comprehensive health insurance that covers maternity care. This will help to offset any high costs associated with childbirth and postnatal care. Thirdly, consider hiring a translator if you're not fluent in Arabic. While many doctors and nurses in Saudi Arabia speak English, there may be times when a translator is necessary to ensure clear communication. Fourthly, respect the local customs and traditions. Saudi Arabia is a conservative country with strict laws and customs, especially regarding women's rights and behavior. Fifthly, make sure to have all the necessary documentation for your baby. This includes a birth certificate and passport, which are necessary for any future travel or legal matters. Lastly, build a support network. Living in a foreign country can be isolating, especially when you're dealing with the stresses of having a baby. Reach out to other expats, join local groups, and don't hesitate to ask for help when you need it," explained one expat living in Jizan, Saudi Arabia.
