What cultural faux pas should I try to avoid making in Koh Phangan?

"When visiting Koh Phangan, it is important to avoid touching someone's head, as it is considered the most sacred part of the body. Be respectful of the local customs and dress modestly, especially when visiting temples or religious sites. Remove your shoes before entering someone's home or a temple. Avoid pointing your feet at people or religious images, as feet are considered the lowest and dirtiest part of the body. Do not show public displays of affection, as it is considered impolite and disrespectful. Be mindful of the local customs surrounding the Thai monarchy, and avoid making any negative comments or gestures about the royal family. When eating, use a fork to push food onto your spoon, as it is considered impolite to put a fork directly into your mouth. Finally, try to remain calm and composed in all situations, as losing your temper or raising your voice is seen as a sign of weakness and poor manners in Thai culture," wrote a member who made the move to Koh Phangan, Thailand.
