When visiting temples or other religious sites, dress modestly. This means covering your shoulders and knees, and removing your shoes before entering. Avoid showing anger or frustration in public. The Thai culture values maintaining a calm and cool demeanor, and public outbursts can be seen as very disrespectful. It's also important to show respect for the Thai royal family. Criticizing or making negative comments about the monarchy is illegal and can result in severe penalties. Avoid interrupting or walking in front of people who are praying or meditating.
