"In Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, it is considered disrespectful to show the soles of your feet or shoes, as they are considered dirty. Public displays of affection are frowned upon in the UAE, so avoid hugging, kissing, or holding hands in public. It is considered rude to refuse an offer of coffee or tea when visiting someone's home. Avoid using your left hand for eating or passing objects, as it is considered unclean in Arab culture. Dressing modestly is important in the UAE, especially for women. Avoid wearing revealing or tight clothing in public. Do not take photographs of people, especially women, without their permission. It is considered disrespectful and can be illegal. Avoid discussing sensitive topics such as politics, religion, or sex. These topics are considered private and not suitable for public discussion. Alcohol consumption is restricted in the UAE. It is illegal to drink in public places and you should only consume alcohol in licensed venues. During the holy month of Ramadan, eating, drinking, or smoking in public during daylight hours is considered disrespectful. Do not make negative comments or jokes about the UAE's royal family, government, or religion. This can be considered a serious offense. Avoid interrupting or walking in front of someone who is praying. Respect for religious practices is highly important in the UAE. Always ask for permission before entering a mosque, and remember to remove your shoes before entering," said a member in ras al khaimah, the UAE.
