Fourthly, Croatians are proud of their culture and heritage, so avoid making negative comments about their country or comparing it unfavorably to other places. Fifthly, tipping is customary in Croatia, so it's considered rude not to leave a tip in restaurants or for services. Lastly, when visiting churches or other religious sites, dress modestly and behave respectfully.
