"When visiting La Romana, Dominican Republic, avoid wearing revealing clothing in public places, as it may be considered disrespectful. Be mindful of personal space and avoid touching people without their permission. Do not take photos of locals without asking for their consent first. Avoid discussing sensitive topics such as politics, religion, and race. Be respectful of local customs and traditions, and try to learn a few basic phrases in Spanish to show your interest in their culture.
