"When visiting Puerto Bolívar, Ecuador, it's important to respect the local customs and traditions. Avoid wearing revealing clothing, as this can be seen as disrespectful. It's also considered rude to point with your finger, instead use your whole hand. Don't rush conversations or transactions, as Ecuadorians value a relaxed pace. Avoid discussing sensitive topics such as politics, religion, or personal income. It's also considered impolite to arrive on time for social events, as it's customary to arrive a little late. Always greet people with a handshake and maintain eye contact during conversations. Lastly, avoid littering or damaging the environment, as Ecuadorians are very proud of their natural heritage," wrote a member who made the move to Puerto Bolivar, Ecuador.
