"When visiting Aqaba, it is important to dress modestly, covering your shoulders, knees, and cleavage, as revealing clothing can be seen as disrespectful. Avoid public displays of affection, as they are considered inappropriate in Jordanian culture. Be mindful of the Islamic prayer times and avoid making loud noises during these periods. Do not take photographs of people, especially women, without their permission. When entering a mosque, remove your shoes and ensure you are dressed modestly. If invited to a local's home, bring a small gift and always accept offers of food and drink, as refusing can be seen as impolite. Use your right hand for eating and greeting, as the left hand is considered unclean. Finally, be respectful of local customs and traditions, and avoid discussing sensitive topics such as politics and religion," wrote a member who made the move to Aqaba, Jordan.
