Avoid public displays of affection, as they are considered inappropriate in Filipino culture. Do not litter or damage the environment. Boracay Island is known for its pristine beaches and natural beauty, and locals take great pride in preserving it. Avoid being too loud or disruptive, especially in public places. Filipinos value respect and courtesy, and being too loud can be seen as disrespectful. Do not ignore local customs and traditions. For example, it's customary to use both hands when giving or receiving something, and to say "po" and "opo" as a sign of respect when speaking to elders.
