The local culture is rich in traditions and festivals, which expats enjoy participating in. They also appreciate the strong sense of community and the importance placed on family and friendships. The local cuisine is another aspect that expats enjoy, with fresh fruits, vegetables, and seafood readily available. The respect and love for nature that is deeply ingrained in the local culture is also something that expats find admirable. Lastly, the local music and dance, particularly salsa and merengue, add a vibrant touch to the local culture that expats find enjoyable and engaging," said a member in Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica.
