"Expats in Playa Grande often appreciate the laid-back and relaxed lifestyle, known as "Pura Vida", that is deeply ingrained in the local culture. They also value the warm and welcoming nature of the local people, who are always ready to help and make them feel at home. The strong sense of community and family values that are prevalent in the local culture is another aspect that expats appreciate. They also enjoy the rich biodiversity and the commitment of locals towards environmental conservation. The local cuisine, particularly the fresh seafood and tropical fruits, is another aspect that expats in Playa Grande appreciate. Lastly, the vibrant festivals and traditional celebrations that showcase the local culture and heritage are greatly appreciated by expats," remarked another expat who made the move to Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
