There are plenty of cultural activities to enjoy, from live concerts and art galleries to traditional Mexican festivals and food markets. The local people are welcoming, and a sense of community is strong amongst locals and expats alike. The area is a great place for expats to make new friends and experience a different culture," remarked another expat who made the move to Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
"Simpler lifestyle, fresher food, lower priced food, lower price utilities and rent, ocean breezes. Fisherman live on my streets, seeing them repair their nets, getting boats ready. Love fresh shrimp and fish. So many to list here," explained one expat living in Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
