The rich Maori culture, which is deeply ingrained in the local community, is also highly appreciated. Expats love the opportunity to learn about Maori traditions, language, and customs. The stunning natural beauty of Rotorua, with its geothermal parks, lakes, and forests, is another aspect of the local culture that expats greatly appreciate. They also value the strong sense of community and the numerous outdoor activities available, such as hiking, biking, and water sports.
