What do expats find most challenging?

Answer this Question

We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Warwick. They wrote...

"Expats in Warwick often find the high cost of living to be a significant challenge, as the island is one of the most expensive places to live in the world. The slow pace of life can also be a culture shock for those accustomed to a faster, more hectic lifestyle. Additionally, the island's isolation can be difficult for some, as it can be expensive and time-consuming to travel to other countries. The local dialect and accents can also be challenging to understand for newcomers. Lastly, while Bermudians are generally friendly and welcoming, it can take time for expats to fully integrate into the local community and social circles," explained one expat living in Warwick, Bermuda.
