What do expats find most challenging?
We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Jabriya. They wrote...
"Expats in Jabriya often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. The conservative nature of the culture can be challenging for those who are not used to it, as it can be difficult to adjust to the more restrictive dress codes and social norms. Additionally, the language barrier can be a challenge for expats, as Arabic is the official language of Kuwait and English is not widely spoken. Finally, the lack of public transportation can be a challenge for expats, as it can be difficult to get around without a car," explained one expat living in Jabriya, Kuwait.
