Will I save money living in Salalah?
We asked expats if they save money living in Salalah. They said...
"Living in Salalah can be significantly cheaper than living in the United States. The cost of living in Salalah is much lower than in the US, with basic necessities such as food, housing, and transportation costing significantly less. Additionally, the Omani Rial is much weaker than the US Dollar, meaning that the same amount of money can go much further in Salalah than it would in the US. As a result, living in Salalah can be a great way to save money," wrote a member who made the move to Salalah, Oman.
