"Yes, living in Wuhan could be significantly cheaper than living in the United States. The cost of living in Wuhan is much lower than the cost of living in most cities in the United States. Food and housing are typically much cheaper in Wuhan when compared to American cities. Healthcare costs are also lower in Wuhan and in most cities in China. Transportation costs in Wuhan are also inexpensive, and there are many forms of public transportation that are available to residents. Overall, the cost of living in Wuhan is significantly lower than the cost of living in most American cities," remarked another expat who made the move to Wuhan, China, China.
