"The cost of living in Ayia Napa is generally lower than in many parts of the United States. This is particularly true when it comes to housing and rent prices, which are significantly cheaper in Ayia Napa. Groceries, dining out, and general consumer goods also tend to be less expensive in Cyprus. However, it's important to note that salaries in Cyprus are also generally lower than in the U.S., which could offset some of these savings. Additionally, the cost of certain services, such as internet and mobile plans, can be higher in Cyprus. Overall, if you're earning a U.S. salary while living in Ayia Napa, you're likely to save money. But if you're earning a local salary, your purchasing power may be similar to or less than what you'd have in the U.S," wrote a member who made the move to Ayia Napa, Cyprus.
