Will I save money living in Mykonos?

Answer this Question

We asked expats if they save money living in Mykonos. They said...

"The cost of living in Mykonos can be lower than in many parts of the United States, especially when it comes to housing and healthcare. However, this largely depends on your lifestyle and spending habits. For instance, dining out and groceries can be more expensive in Mykonos due to its status as a tourist hotspot. Utilities and transportation costs can also be higher than in some U.S. cities. Therefore, while you might save money in some areas, you could end up spending more in others. It's also important to consider the exchange rate and your income source. If you're earning in U.S. dollars but spending in euros, fluctuations in the exchange rate could significantly impact your cost of living," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Mykonos, Greece.
